ENC to host Reading in the Redwoods on January 8

The Environmental Nature Center (ENC) is gearing up for more outdoor fun in the New Year!

On Sunday, Jan. 8, ENC Education Director Mindy Schwartz will read her favorite children’s book, Fur, Feather, Fin - All of Us are Kin by Diane Lang. Enjoy a relaxing morning with your family while you take in the reading under the canopy of ENC’s tallest trees. After, children and their adults will participate in hands-on activities that explore the different animal classes. Some of the included activities will be birdwatching with DIY binoculars, digging for detritivores in their compost, and so much more.
