Art show at THE LOT Fashion Island this Friday, Sept. 17

This Friday, Sept. 17, THE LOT Fashion Island is holding an art show from 3-7 p.m. E3 Solutions, a local nonprofit, will be hosting the event with a ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m. with the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce. Admission is free.

Vaan Manoukian is among the artists whose work will be on display at the art show. Manoukian was born in Yerevan, Armenia, USSR. His credentials include 12 years of apprenticeship under the tutelage of master Aram (Aramik) Garibian. He has eight years of professional education in two art academies where he majored in fine arts, specifically in painting, sculpting and drawing. He underwent three years of internship at the Museum of Folk Art in Armenia under the guidance of Master Henrik, wherein he learned specialty subjects such as stone etching, pottery making, wood carving, blacksmithing/metal working and jewelry crafting.

In addition to Manoukian, other participating artists to date include Jennifer Bloomfield, Teresa MacGregor, Kristina Malykhin, Sherry Pollack Walker, Tina Rodriguez and Betty Scott, as well as local musician Brian Flammer.

Proceeds from the art show will go to support local children’s art programs. 

The mission of E3 Solutions is to engage, enable and empower people to change the world through the way they choose to live in it.
