23rd Annual Fire and Lifeguard Appreciation Dinner honors outstanding service

It was another sold out evening, as the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce honored the first responders of our Fire and Lifeguard departments on Thursday, Sept. 9 at the 23rd Annual Fire and Lifeguard Appreciation Dinner.

Under a beautiful sunset at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach Amphitheater, more than 300 people were present to extend congratulations and gratitude to the department standouts, as well as the entire group of personnel for their dedicated service. CBS 2/KCAL 9 Emmy Award-winning TV news reporter Michelle Gile, serving as the guest emcee, kept the program lively as it celebrated outstanding achievements in 2020 and 2021.
