NMUSD Board of Education seeking input for selection of new superintendent

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) Board of Education is seeking your input in the selection of the district’s next superintendent.

As part of the process, the board is providing an anonymous online survey and encouraging students, staff, parents, and the community to provide thoughts on the desired qualities and characteristics for the next superintendent. This survey also will guide the recruitment and reference check process, as well as development of interview questions.

The survey also seeks perspectives on the district’s strengths, challenges and community.

You can find the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/6RPTZD9. This survey will be open through June 30 at 4 p.m.

Leadership Associates, the consultants who are assisting the board with the superintendent search process, will compile a report summarizing the results of the survey.

For more information, visit the Superintendent Search Webpage

Students from around the district honored for character awards
